Q: What cameras do you use?
A: Currently: an Olympus Mju Zoom 140, Reto Camera, Kodak M35, and a Canon AE1: all 35mm film cameras
Q: Where do you go to develop your films?
A: Fotohub @ Jurong, as it is convenient and it costs about 12 dollars to develop a roll. The staff are also friendly and helpful. On average. they take 1-2 days and they can send the photos through email, so do note to specify that you want your photos to be sent through email. For people who live in the East, Triple D Lab is recommended as it is cheap and if you send your photos in before 2pm, you are able to get them back after 5pm on the same day. I tried Whompoa Color Centre a couple of times too and they're really fast! Just a little inconvenient through public transport xd
Q: Which shops do u purchase your cameras/ films from?
A: I bought my Canon AE1 from Filem, several rolls of film from 8storeytree, and the Kodak M35 was bought from Fotohub. Fotohub sells the standard Kodak Ultramax 400 and Kodak Gold 200, so if you are looking to find other options, you can try the other stores mentioned. Reto 3D Cam was bought directly from the online store, and Olympus Mju Zoom was bought off carousell.
Q: Which Film Photographers inspire you?
A: Willem Verbeek, Negative Feedback, Joe Greer, Matt Day, grainydays and many others. Shout out to Yong Teng for giving me a lot of advice when I just started.
Q: Do you only shoot 35mm?
A: Currently, yes. However, I am looking to delve into 120mm in the future.
Q: What other films do u plan to try out?
A: Cinestill 800T (really expensive tho), Kodak Ektachrome 100, and many others. If possible I would like to try designing my own film rolls too :D
