Developed some new rolls of film at Whompoa Color Centre recently (12 bux per roll) and here are some shots! The photos in this post are mainly taken by my new Olympus Mju Zoom 140, which I bought off Carousell for 210 bux (received a free roll of colourplus too) and I really like how the photos turned out! (way sharper than my Canon Ae1). I also tried out Kodak Colorplus for the first time here, and personally prefer Kodak Gold. Click here to check out my TikTok video of these photos as well.
Some of the shots here were also taken by Conrad's Minolta Riva Zoom Sightseer which he bought from Filem (nego-ed irl to about 100 bux w free batteries), and shot with Kodak Ultramax 400. On a side note, recently many teens started purchasing film cameras from thrift IG accounts etc but I'd like to caution that there's a risk in purchasing as some of the cameras are not professionally checked and taken care of... and these shops don't offer refunds... so it's always safer to purchase from an established seller.
If you're interested in purchasing a second-hand film camera for cheap, Qi Huang has experience in purchasing a couple of film cameras from eBay (and had no bad experience so far) so he could recommend some shops as well!
Enjoy the photos ~
Ps: Made a tiktok for these photos as well xd

Photo collage above taken at Haji Lane, while hanging out w Mr Aerospace Scholar whom I haven't seen since school started (feel free to hit him up at NTU). Quite surprised at how well lit the photo was indoors, given that the flash came out 'weak' and wasn't very blinding to the eyes as compared to other cameras. Managed to hit a 10k step count taking these photos.
Really liked the building shots taken with this cam, as compared to shots that I took with my Canon Ae1 previously. The zoom function really helped as well, as most buildings are covered by trees/lamps. Had been wanting to do  photoshoots of nice buildings around SG for a while and will probably try it out soon with this cam. Photos here were taken in the Bishan, AMK and Marina area.

This shot was taken with Conrad's camera, by the barista at Coexist Coffee who was v intrigued with our cameras and the price. Anw the food was good too :)

This photo is pretty nice too but should have taken my mask off the table :")

Photo collage of our karting session at Khatib ~

Cute selfie taken by Conrad's camera - a downside of my camera is that the minimal focus distance is longer than an arm's length, so selfies are unfeasible. Peek my NUS mask gifted to me by NUS

Aaand that's about it! Most likely going to shoot more film now that I have such an accessible point and shoot camera. Cheers :)
