Hello there, it has been a long time since I ventured out to shoot film, given the busy schedule in my University Life. The photos below were taken during the Chinese New Year period this year with my Canon AE1 and sent to Malaysia to be developed by Darkroom8, which came up to about SGD $5 per roll. (Thanks to my friend Qi Huang for helping me mail them over)
The above photos were taken with Kodak Gold 200. The crowd was really little this year compared to that of previous years, due to the covid situation. However, it is nice to see the same few main sellers at Chinatown, who often offer me free food for photographing them. With half of the stores at Chinatown being empty, it gave off a deserted feel.
These pictures were taken with Portra 400, and was actually the first roll of Portra that I shot with. The colours were really nice, and I personally rate it among my favourites.
That's all for my first post of 2021, I'm hoping to shoot more new locations this year (like school), and to meet more film buddies ! Cheers :)
